Another walk on a spur of the FLT near Lickbrook Glen brought me to these deep woods at the edge of a field. I thought it was dramatic. This spur if you follow the general direction after crossing E. King Rd. , will eventually bring one to Comfort Rd and near where Buttermilk Creek goes under it. You can get on the trails for upper Buttermilk park there and circle back to East King Rd. I did this and it was about a 5.5 mile hike. Orange blazes. This one is 8″ x 8″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
