One more for the series. This is a pioneer cemetery just behind Taughannock Inn on Gorge Rd. Some of the stones have interesting poems on them. Hard to read after sports many years but the gist of one epithet was something like… Do good while here if you could “for where you stand …I once stood”. I framed it as you can see and I hope to get a show soon of just cemeteries. It could happen. 12″ x 9″ using pencil and watercolor on cotton paper.
