
I went back and changed it anyway. The light pole lives. I like it better plus it’s being true to what I saw. That’s Margot coming back along the rocks. This part is usually underwater but they lower the lake level in the winter to protect docks and what not from the ice and it gets the lake ready for the spring snow melt and subsequent flooding. And I’m gonna start doing some blue skies soon. This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
I like them both, but the second with the poles works better. Vertical in a horizontal world – you know!
