Walking with Carla we passed this fine group of scions from an older tree, at least that’s my guess. This is on the FLT just easterly of where it crosses South Rd. There’s always big drifts in these woods where the wind whips across the field and leaves the snow piled at the edge of the woods. It’s a nice walk thru older hardwood forest down to Old 76. This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
Wow. the snow on the tree trunks, the details of the branches, the whole composition, so complex and with such dimension – absolutely stunning, Tommy! *”All things are bound together, all things connect.” * *- Oren Lyons, Faithkeeper, Seneca Nation*
