Close to Home # 54 GIFTED

Taking a walk along our lakeshore a few days ago we find a pumpkin stranded in the shallows. there’s been a north wind blowing of late so it may well have come from one of the many docks along the western shore. It was a gray day so a little color is OK. Post Christmas there’ll be evergreen trees landing on the shoreline. So I guess pumpkins float. It’s 6″ x 8″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on paper.
