Fingerlakes Trail # 28

I walked a section of the trail going West from Connecticut Hill last Sunday. And to return to my vehicle i bushwhacked through the woods on an old logging path. The ground was carpeted beautifully. It smelled wonderful, the sun was out and the temperature was ideal. I met cyclists and people walking their dogs on the roads, hikers on the trails, photographers in their truck. It was peak color up there. Who knew it could be so “crowded” on the Hill? This is 6″ x 8″ using pencil and watercolor on paper.
