Last Friday I walked with Jay and we passed thru fields and forest on the Interlocken Trail. One field was full of cow pies and a little later we stumbled on the source hiding in the shade. There were some calves in the group and most all were unafraid or just casual about our proximity. Ears were out so curiosity was peaked in some but others never even bothered to stand or give notice in any way as to the fact that they had visitors. We dined on black caps and raspberries along field’s edges.                  This is 5.9″ x 11.8″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
