Our drive up to the barn. It’s lined with hollyhock, asters, chicory, milkweed, some herbs and on the shady side it’s wild grapes taking over the buckthorn. Blackcaps are strewn throughout and soon there’ll be raspberries. A big lilac isn’t shown. It’s so hot again today and the family is going once again to a creek to cool off.              This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper. This size is the usual $75 unframed and $150 if it’s under glass and framed. I make the frames. Just saying.
