This is the terrace above the Shrine. And those cypress are in a circle marking the spot where Baha’u’llah pitched His tent in 1890 and indicated where the Bab should be interred. It took many years but the task was accomplished. And this too is from a recent pilgrimage to the Baha’i Holy sites in Haifa, Israel. It’s 9″ x 12″ using pen, pencil, gouache and watercolor on cotton paper.
