This is the second one for this farm, an older dairy that no longer milks cows. It’s mostly growing hay for other operations. This is the business side of the farm. I met John when we were looking for some straw to mulch our gardens. He had some bales of loose straw that were broken and wanted it cleaned out. Can do and with pleasure. So we’re set here for the next season unless Maggie tries to extend the gardening or tree planting areas. She will.
This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil and watercolor on cotton paper. Not for sale just yet. Peaches and I are still working on a poetry accompaniment for the paintings of this farm and 3 or 4 other farms and then we plan to make it into a book.

Love this one! The sky is so dramatic! And farms are especially dear to me.
