Here’s one more from our Sunday hike on Connecticut Hill. We were bushwhacking and there was so much of interest in our surroundings…it’s hard to pick and choose something to paint. This was a challenge to see how the leaves look shining through the icy covering. Plus those spikes were fascinating in the way they radiated from a hidden center. It’s 8″ x 8″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper. $65 unframed
