Another view along Old 76, a favorite biking road. This valley follows Boyer Creek to Speedsville where there’s a little country store and you can get an ice cream sandwich on a hot day. It’s our usual typical grey day but still a lot goes on. Again, I love when the ground kisses the sky.
It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
I really like the way the sky and snowy ground interact. The complexity of the sky is rather at odds with the simple snow, but the lines of fence and such make it all rather intriguing – simple, complex, like nature.
