Dec. 23rd and I finally can get back in the woods safely. The gun season has ended. So I went to check on a section of the FLT to see what, if any, maintenance needed to be done and sure enough there are 3 deadfalls across our section of trail. I hope I can get some fellow volunteers to help chop them away, maybe this coming weekend. This is a shot at capturing some of the forms left in a little creek next to the trail. Further down stream is one of the places that’ll need some attention. Any volunteers out there? This is 8″ x 8″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
