I went on a long bike ride 2 days ago and it got up into the 90’s in the afternoon so I decided to return home from Spencer via a wooded route, rough but shaded. there’s some really old maple trees still struggling to live, this being one of them. I think I got a pretty good catch of the light here.     This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
