Nice weather on Saturday brought Jay and I to a section of the FLT just west of Treman park. We were quite pleased with the sun and warmth and then we stumbled upon a wonderful cache of ramps, wild onions. Both harvested some and mine was used in a family meal last night. I don’t know if these forest scenes are with doing. they take a couple of days and almost never seem to capture the full beauty of the woods. It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil , watercolor and gouache on thick paper.
