Cold February Morning

It’s been awhile since I paint and post. The flu will do that to you. This is Karryn’s car waiting for some decent weather. I too await some change. It’s 12″ x 12″ using pencil and watercolor on Arches paper. $100 unframed.

One good thing that comes of being sick and sleeping poorly is that i remember a lot of my dreams. I had a beauty a few nights ago. I was in a big crowd and a person walked by and I said “She is sad. She is sad.” and followed her to try and cheer her up with the help of all these other souls around us. Never did catch her but i spoke with Dennis, a native American from Kalispell, whom I met 9 yers ago in Montana at a campsite. We remembered how happy it must have made his recently departed wife that he spoke of her with me back then. And then I thought that these large gatherings of people could be like souls in the next plain of existence. We gather and we try to make sure everyone is happy there as we should be doing here. It was interesting how the 9 years between our encounter in Clearwater, Mt. meant nothing time wise in the dream. Anyway, it gives me some good food for thought and steering my actions in gatherings.
