An early morning walk along our lake front brought me to this colorful cloud formation. Trees are almost all denuded of leaves except this one. And all along the Southern shore of the lake the last trees have succumbed to the advancing waters. So in the 30 plus years that I walk these paths, these willows have slowly fallen into the lake. They are floating and slowly loosing all their branches till only big trunks remain. This one is 9″ x 11″ using pencil, pen and watercolor on cotton paper. $ 75 unframed.
