Sunday we bushwhacked thru the woods on Connecticut Hill and there were wonderful conversations had. Our resident scientist, Karryn, was explaining this phenomena of snow melting around trees…it actually has a name. The albedo effect. It left some interesting patterns wherever it occurred.
