On a walk with Jay along “Monkey Run”, we dropped down to the creek and were met with lots of wildflowers. Purple loosestrife and sunflower family in prominence here. there’s a lovely swimming hole along the creek just above this spot under the abutments of an old bridge. And I don’t know why they call it monkey run so if any reader has the skinny on that please inform us. thanks. It’s 8″ x 8″ using pencil and watercolor on paper.
