Last month we spent 2 weeks in Minneapolis with our daughter’s family. Lots of flu in the homestead so we were pretty well housebound in caretaker roles. The icy weather didn’t help either. This is the view from the front window, rows of small houses in  truly suburban setting. I like the modest sized homes and the light was wonderful this particular day…nice shadows. It’s a quick sketch using watercolor and pencil on 5.5″ x 8.5″ paper.
