Roadside Attraction #149

This is a scene along O’neil Rd. just north of Port Byron. There’s one well cared for farm on the road and it’s all corn this year and yet to be harvested. I was riding with a strong tailwind to Fairhaven, NY on Lake Ontario and this is one of my favorite routes. There’s a bridge over the Seneca river ahead unfit for cars but perfectly passable on foot or bike making this a little used passage. 11.9″ x 5.8″ using pencil and watercolor on Arches paper. I’m preparing for a fundraising show at the Southside Community center this coming Nov. 15th and am working on some smaller more affordable pieces.
