Roadside Attraction #136 SOLD

A very warm afternoon’s ride brought me along Enfield Rd. West and this array of purple loosestrife and Queen Ann’s lace called to me. It’s an invasive plant but a beauty in my opinion. 20″ x 14″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on Waterford 330# paper. $150 unframed but I have a plethora of frames suitable for this size. $225 framed

  1. Your art has taken such a turn of late and I am really enjoying it, especially the close-up views. This painting makes me imagine being in the field of flowers looking out. Lovely!

  2. This closeup point of view, filling 2/3 of the space, is so different from your typical style -so I love it for its difference, its surprise, and most of all because this is a very lovely, pleasing painting! Yes! The clouds, the colors, the graceful curves – it all evokes wild natural beauty and a warm summer breeze. Terrific!
