Roadside Attraction #108 SOLD

This is from Connecticut Hill Rd just West of Trumbull’s Corners. The fall colors were at their peak here and Van Valen has been parking some of his construction equipment at the farm here. There have been improvements made to fields and fences that I can see from the road lately. The is an odd shape because I found a very beautiful frame of this size and trying to fill it. It’s 32″ x 8″ using pencil, pen, gouache and watercolor on cotton paper. $375 framed

  1. Wow! That’s a fantastic composition on an unusual shape! What paper did you use? You must have had a huge piece of watercolor paper that you cut to fit. Do you use Arches? What weight?
