We continue with our documentation of our pilgrimage. This is a view of the Mediterranean Sea thru one of the openings in the Western sea wall of the city of Acca. Brilliant blues were the order of the day. All of these openings were to allow a cannon to be positioned here and there to ward off attacks, or so I assume. You can see how thick the walls are…massively so. This one is small, 6″ x 8″ using pencil and watercolors on cotton paper and it is spoken for…as in sold.
