This is on Connecticut Hill and is one of the Connecticut Hill roads. The FLT crosses the road just ahead of us where the road takes a down turn. I walked down hill on the trail and came back to my vehicle looping thru the woods and using the road a bit. It was a glorious day and there’s still quite a bit of color out there…oak and beech trees providing the majority of bright hues. Still dog sitting and I have to say that these fool animals love these hikes. They are so eager to get out there and run. It’s great fun just to watch their capers. In a week or so we’ll be barred from entering the woods as gun season starts. Right now it’s bow hunting but I trust the bowhunters more than the gunmen. This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper. $85 unframed.
Very beautiful, Tommy!
