On Wednesday I walked with a friend along an abandoned section of rail bed that should connect with the south Hill recreation trail but a homeowner has many no trespassing signs where it runs through their property. We walked from Banks Rd. to almost Burns Rd. where it’s literally impassable. The trail is flat, straight and cuts thru hills like this view and crosses deep gorges. There’s some nice woods along the length, occasionally breaking into a field. I am a sucker for where the sky kisses the ground and for any glimpse of blue during our cloudy seasons. It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
