I went out with Ruth Yarrow on Wednesday and as she wanted to work on her water techniques we ended up close by at the marina. She’s quick and did 2 to my one half finished piece while we were there. I continued work yesterday and today it’s done. It was a wonderful session with a dear friend. This is 10″ x 14″ using pencil and watercolor on cotton paper.

Thanks again Sara. Sometimes I’ll get too fussy and lose the spontaneity of brushwork. always a balance there. Reality but a painted one.
