I was visiting my friend Mike at the Second Wind cottages and lo and behold the sky went off the charts. This is the view from the East with moon rising, well, arisen. We were marveling at the western skies when Carmen Guidi, the man who spearheaded this wonderful project, said we ought to look behind us too. It was a great conversation and the heavens seemed to approve. Light upon light. It’s 6″ x 12″ using watercolor and gouache on cotton paper. I’m gonna give this one to the cottages.
Such a complicated combination of colors to create the sky – you did it, Tommie!
