I have a favorite color blue and it’s the one of middle sky when it’s set off by the green of trees. One of these attempts I’ll nail it but in the meantime you can see for yourself outside what I’m describing. Here, in early morning, the walnut trees can take on all sorts of tints. Sometimes they’re pink, orange or a yellow depending on the sunrise colors. And some years from now this back piece of land will be full of chestnuts, oaks and fruit trees. They’re all planted and doing OK at the moment.                                                                            This is 6″ x 9″ using pencil and watercolor on paper.
