This was a plein air piece done yesterday. The rains are coming and they hit hard overnight. i painted this spot 2 years ago from a different angle and if ZI recall there was a snowstorm just starting on that day. It’s a big sky spot on one of my favorite bike routes. I went to visit a farmer friend who hasn’t even been able to plant yet because of the rain. And then this storm last night will add to the wet fields putting him further behind schedule. Ouch.                                        It’s 6″ x 9″ using pencil and watercolor on paper.
