For some time I have marveled at the color of the creeks and streams thru northern Alabama and Tennessee and here’s an attempt at capturing their color. Some of the creeks I bathed in were a beautiful clear water over golden colored rocks but as soon as the water was deeper it was this green. All the paintings from this trip are the same 5.9″ x 11.8″. This one uses pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
