Another Sunday walk brought us a little patch of blue for maybe 10 minutes but we were there to catch it. It also brought some shadows across the snow. This part of the trail passes thru an older hemlock grove. You know you’re on the FLT when you see the white blazes on the trees marking the path.  This is 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
