Yesterday we ventured into a section of woods that has never been cut…virgin forest. There was a special feeling at the site and here’s what you see looking out from an old grove of hardwoods, mostly maple trees. The fields approach but stop before the old growth forest. There’s a log to sit on…the Pondering Log they call it.                                                                    It’s 9″ x 12″ using watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
