I don’t see this often when I’m here…the Olympic Peninsula’s mountains. Today the wind comes from the North bringing in a high pressure system and it’s clear skies and big views. To add to the drama, we saw porpoises jumping in the nearby waters. It was pretty exciting. And there’s just as much going on right under our noses that is of equal drama in the natural world. It’s amazing indeed. It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on paper.
