This is the top of Cayuga Lake where it empties into the Seneca River. The lock controls the water level of the lake. They let the level go down for the winter months so there’s no damage done to docks ( that’s also the time to install or fix a dock) and it’s low for the spring rains and the flooding that often accompanies them. It’s 9″ x 12′ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper. $ 175 if it’s framed.
