My Dear Friend Ruth Yarrow invited me to join her for some out door sketching. We went to the flower preserve on 6 Mile Creek, took a short walk in and here’s where we stopped. She finished hers rapidly as is her want but i needed more time and so with 2 extra hours today i brought the foreground forward and sent the background back. It was great fun and the conversation was elevated. We left just as the rains began so our timing was good too.  It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil, watercolor and gouache on cotton paper.
