I followed the Mississippi for a couple of days and saw that I was keeping about the same speed as the tug pushing some barges upstream. This river is huge. I crossed it in Minneapolis visiting some friends from last year in Champlin, just north of the twin cities. This painting stayed there.  9″ x 12′ using pencil and watercolor on paper.
