I guess they named the town to draw people here? Or maybe 60 years ago it was scenic? It’s like a ghost town this side of the road. The other side wasn’t any prettier either. This saloon has buffalo skulls on the racks above the roof and on the sign it says “Indians allowed”. We’re on the Pine Ridge reservation now where I was warned off traveling down here and sleeping in the area by a kindly white motorcyclist.
