This area was flat and wet. Evidently the water doesn’t seep into the ground all that well. It allows for extensive grain growing and these elevators are a testimony thereof. This dirt road I took was long and at the end I encountered new gravel that was impossible to ride on. We walked quite a bit this day but got thru and made it to Billings where friends welcomed me. And after getting off the gravel road and onto pavement, with the wind at my back and on a slight downhill, I encountered an antelope next to the road. We raced and the antelope won. They run so differently from a deer….look like they just bounce along. 9″ x 12″ using pencil and watercolor on paper $125
