This was my favorite vehicle to date and a most interesting mechanic owned it. Ernie had a hot rod that he had built there also and it was drop dead gorgeous but this ’48 International was most impressive to me. He uses it to haul his wood for winter heating purposes in Nemo SD. Practical and utilitarian.  I asked if I could take his picture in front of his shop and said “OK as long as it doesn’t end up on some cereal box.” A real character.                                                       9″ x 12″ using watercolor and pencil on paper        $150
