Yesterday I took a long bike ride over to the Olympic peninsula side, arrived via ferry and fought with traffic all day. Never again. I found some nice side roads here and there but on the whole I put too much faith in other drivers because there weren’t good choices. I met a bike commuting teacher on my return ferry ride and he described the island and peninsular side of Seattle as a bottleneck of traffic. Too true. But I did see this fine truck and here it is. 60 something chevy. It’s 9″ x 12″ using pencil and watercolor and gouache on paper.
I love this! All the different shades of blue, and especially the truck at that downward angle, looking like it might roll right off the page.
