Cloud Study # 17

Here’s an interesting question for me. Why does that cumulus cloud in the distance sit there all by itself? Why just there? What’s happening below it? No lakes over there, just valleys and mostly woods. It was another warm day in late January and we’re having a thaw as it got up into the 50’s. So I was out for some 6 hours on the bike and besides the skies being so clear the most noticeable thing of the day was the sound of running water. It was everywhere. The ditches ,the creeks and the waterfalls were all playing their tunes. It’s a great place to be on a bicycle….top of Honeypot Rd. with a lovely downhill to look forward to into Candor.

It’s 9″ x 12″ with watercolor and pencil on paper.                          Price    $125.
