We have been driving way too much.. But here is another example of typical weather in the high plains. Almost clear skies, snow capped mountains on the not so distant horizon, lots of sky, railroads pulling mineral wealth from source to market, casinos and billboards and not many trees or green at all for that matter. It’s dry. This was a pretty dramatic expanse right in the heart of town.                        9″ x 12″ pencil and watercolor on paper.
