This is an erratic that I have wanted to capture for many years and finally got around to. The glaciers left these huge rocks scattered around the countryside and this one is nicely sitting in a field. It’s on Harvey Hill Rd. in Enfield. And it snowed last night to really set this granite chunk of Canada off.

And secondly, I just want to say that I have been away from the painting for a month while getting this exhibition ready and then found it difficult to crank back up again. This one I saw this AM and banged it out by mid afternoon. Whew! So I am back.
