Biking around north of Lansing and I stumble on a migrant crew boxing corn for market. 100’s of acres of ripe ears and somebody’s got to get it in crates and here they are. There was friendly banter continually heard around the work area…at least it sounded friendly. I understood not a word so I think it was some Creole going down. I would probably have to join a crew at some point for a few days to be able to elaborate on this account at all ….and for a season to get closer to what is going on.
