The Scales Sold

Here’s another industrial agriculture site on Waterburg Road. They can weigh trucks full of grain, dry and store all you can grow in the area or at least it looks like that’s what they’re up to. New storage facilities every year.

Maybe one (my spouse says it’s so ugly) wonders why choose this to paint. The color of the silos and buildings was also found in the color in the clouds is one reason. I’ll bet if one waited for the right sunset you might even get the shed and tractor colors in the sky too. Also, my agricultural background, limited as it is, finds the nuts and bolts of the modern farming process fascinating.

It’s 9″ x 12″ with pencil and watercolor on paper.    SOLD
